Combating Bullying at Riverbank

What is Bullying?

  • Bullying is when someone repeatedly and on purpose says or does mean or hurtful things to another person who has a hard time defending himself or herself.

What are We Doing?

  • We take every report of bullying seriously
  • We interview students and conduct an investigation
  • If the bullying report is founded we submit a formal report to our district office as directed by AB 9
  • Students involved will receive consequences based on our progressive discipline policy

Registration packets are available at Riverbank and need to be turned in to the office. You must register your child at his/her neighborhood school. Use the School Locator to check your school of attendance. Don't wait until fall! Register early to ensure your child will receive a place in a Riverbank kindergarten class. Spaces fill up and your child may be sent to another school if you wait to register at the beginning of the school year.


Please bring the following documents for registration:

  • child's birth certificate
  • up-to-date immunization records
  • proof of address (utility bill, mortgage/rental agreement)
  • physical dated after August 2016
  • dental exam

Your child is eligible for Kindergarten if his/her 5th birthday falls on or before September 1, 2017. A child is eligible for Transitional Kindergarten if his/her 5th birthday falls on or between September 2nd, 2017 and December 2nd, 2017.
