bio of Ms. Adins
Hello! I am Ms. Adins, born, raised, and living in Sacramento, California. I am a public school teacher with over twenty-three years of classroom teaching experience. Though the bulk of my exposure targets junior high level instruction, I have also taught self-contained fourth and sixth grades. I currently teach middle school history, specifically ancient civilizations and world history. I am passionate about culturally proficient teaching practices and policy. In addition to my work with the kiddos, I have been a master teacher to future Northern California teachers, from both University of California at Davis, and California State University, Sacramento. At the graduate level I have facilitated many on-ground and online classes for the University of Phoenix. I have mentored new faculty to the University, as well as taught a certification to current California teachers. Along with California public school multiple-subject and history teaching credentials, I possess a Language Development Specialist Certificate, BA and MS. I am calibrated to grade Teacher Performance Assessments for the State of California. I am a CalTPA Assessor for UOPX and California State University, San Bernardino. I have a severely autistic sister, whom I attribute to teaching me to be a positive and patient person who finds the humor in most situations. I look forward to working with you!
