Theresa Bassett

About Me

My name is Theresa Bassett. I grew up just over the river in Natomas. My husband and I met in high school and we moved to West Sacramento in 2000 and were married in 2001. We have two sons Ryan and Carter along with our dog, Riley.  I am proud to say that both boys attend Riverbank Elementary! I enjoy spending time with my family and watching my boys play team sports!

My Education

I attended California State University of Sacramento to get my Bachelors of Arts degree in Liberal Studies. I continued with CSUS while obtaining my teaching credential in May of 2002.

Teaching

I have been teaching in the Washington Unified School district since 2002. I taught 4th grade at Bryte Elementary School.  The 2005-2006 school year, I decided to switched from teaching 4th grade to teaching 5th grade. I have been teaching 5th grade ever since. I moved over to Riverbank the year it opened in 2008-2009.
