Combating Bullying at Riverbank

What is Bullying?

  • Bullying is when someone repeatedly and on purpose says or does mean or hurtful things to another person who has a hard time defending himself or herself.

What are We Doing?

  • We take every report of bullying seriously
  • We interview students and conduct an investigation
  • If the bullying report is founded we submit a formal report to our district office as directed by AB 9
  • Students involved will receive consequences based on our progressive discipline policy

All families are welcome to participate in a community forum at Riverbank on Friday, January 20th at 9:30 AM. An evening forum will also be held at Riverbank on Wednesday, February 1st at 6:00 PM.


The district’s new strategic plan aims to establish a stronger sense of transparency and community involvement. The Board of Trustees together with the Superintendent are using this progress as a springboard to host a series of community forums highlighting the current state of the district as well the district’s road map for future success.

Topics of discussion include: meet and greet with the Trustees, Superintendent, and staff; district vision and mission; educational programs; student & family support services; school climate; college & career readiness; and, community partnerships.
